Welcome to Collaborating Across Borders IX!

Dear Attendees,

We are thrilled to welcome you to Collaborating Across Borders IX, North America’s oldest and largest international conference dedicated to advancing the field of interprofessional education and collaborative care (IPECP). This year’s conference will take place from May 27-30 in the vibrant city of Omaha, Nebraska. Hosted jointly by the University of Nebraska Medical Center, represented by Dr. Devin Nickol, and Creighton University, represented by Dr. Jennifer Jessen, this event promises to be an inspiring and transformative experience.

Our conference theme, "Converging Currents: Enhancing Health Outcomes through Interprofessional Collaboration," reflects our collective commitment to improving health outcomes through effective collaboration across professions. Over the course of four days, you will have the opportunity to engage with leading experts, participate in thought-provoking discussions, and gain valuable insights into innovative practices in interprofessional education and collaborative care.

Omaha, with its rich cultural heritage and warm hospitality, is an ideal backdrop for this gathering. We invite you to explore the city, network with fellow attendees, and immerse yourself in the dynamic sessions designed to foster meaningful dialogue and collaboration.

We are planning a diverse program that includes keynote presentations, panel discussions, workshops, oral, poster, and Pecha Kucha presentations, and networking opportunities. Our aim is to create an environment where ideas converge, and new collaborations are born, all with the ultimate goal of enhancing patient care and outcomes through interprofessional teamwork.

We are excited about the contributions and perspectives each of you will bring to the conference. Together, we will explore innovative solutions, share best practices, and build the partnerships necessary for advancing the future of healthcare.

Thank you for joining us in this important endeavor. We look forward to a successful and enriching conference experience with you.

Warm regards,
