Shelene Thomas, PT, DPT, EdD, GCS, FNAP is a Program Director of Augustana University Colorado based program. Her areas of teaching include Geriatrics and Cardiopulmonary practice. Dr. Thomas's research interest are IPE leading to positions on Academy of Education IPE SIG, Co-Chair in the American Interprofessional Healthcare Collaborative (AIHC) and a Fellow in the National Academies of Practice (FNAP). She continues to practice to remain relevant in geriatrics as she is an APTA Geriatric Certified Specialist and serves the profession as a Commissioner for the Commission of Accreditation of Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE) on the Candidacy Panel.
