Brenna Beard is the coordinator and professor of the Occupational Therapist Assistant/Physiotherapist Assistant (OTA/PTA) program at Canadore College. An experienced occupational therapist, she works as an independent contractor in North Bay and surrounding communities, assessing and treating clients of all ages with diverse physical, cognitive, and mental health challenges. Brenna's research presently focuses on validating a device and exercise protocol to improve neck strength to reduce head and neck injuries. Brenna is passionate about fostering collaboration among healthcare disciplines through interprofessional education, leveraging innovative technologies, and driving healthcare innovation.
