Heather Ballard, MD MS, is an associate professor of pediatric anesthesiology at Northwestern University, Feinberg School of Medicine, where she serves as the thread leader for Interprofessional Education. Dr. Ballard focuses her research on health services outcomes and using simulation-based mastery learning to improve skill acquisition. She is passionate about medical education and using simulation curricula to train practitioners to improve patient care outcomes.
