Abigail Miloud, BHSc, MScOT (student)

Abigail Miloud is a Student Occupational Therapist, completing her MScOT degree at the University of Toronto. She is a former McCall MacBain International Fellow and holds a Bachelor of Health Sciences (Honours) degree from McMaster University, where her studies focused on global health, health policy, and advocacy. Her research interests include evidence informed decision-making and enhancing collaborative and interprofessional care. Abigail has an extensive professional history working with children and their families, a passion for mental health, and is driven to pursue relationship-based care in her clinical practice.

Presenting at CAB 2025:

Health care teams must collaborate in novel ways to meet the complexity of care needs. An Interpretive Description study of the competencies needed to guide collaborative practice is presented, including emphases on patient safety, cultural humility, social determinants of access to care, and inclusion of patients and families as decision-makers.
