Robert Brown originally from Phoenix, AZ is a current 3rd year PharmD student at Creighton University. He has a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Biology from Stevens Institute of Technology, and a Master of Business Administration from University of the Sciences. He has 5 years of experience working in the pharmaceutical industry with Merck in a variety of operations and quality assurance based roles. As a member of the Center for Interprofessional Practice, Education, and Research at Creighton, he is excited to research interprofessional connections between different health care professional students.

Food insecurity among healthcare students impacts mental health, educational outcomes, and interprofessional socialization. This presentation explores sustainable food banks as a potential solution, using Maslow’s hierarchy and Gruppen’s learning environment framework to assess the effects on food security, loneliness, and interprofessional learning environments to promote student well-being and success.
