Lisa Benson-DeVries, EdD, MSN, MBA, RN, CPAN is a certified perianesthesia nurse. Lisa is full-time faculty teaching traditional and accelerated nursing programs at Creighton University’s College of Nursing. She received her Bachelor of Nursing degree in 1992 from Midland Lutheran College. In 2021 she received her double masters degree from Nebraska Wesleyan in nursing and business. She graduated in July 2024 with a Doctor of Education from Nebraska Methodist College. Lisa is a perianesthesia nurse who works at Lakeside Procedure Center. Perianesthesia Care, medical-surgical nursing, care of the perianesthesia client, and interprofessional student evaluation are the focus of her scholarship.
