Kevin T. Fuji, PharmD, MA is an Associate Professor of Pharmacy Sciences and Faculty Research Lead for the Institute for Population Health at Creighton University. He received his PharmD from Creighton University and MA in Educational Psychology (focus on qualitative, quantitative, and psychometric methods) from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Dr. Fuji’s work uses qualitative and mixed methods to explore various aspects of health care and health care education including addressing social determinants of health for individuals with chronic conditions, examining the effectiveness of various community health worker programs, and enhancing interprofessional education.

Presenting at CAB 2025:

This presentation will reveal the national landscape of interprofessional education (IPE) curricula and assessment practices. It will identify key trends, challenges, and gaps, providing valuable insights for institutions seeking to enhance IPE programs and develop more standardized, evidence-based approaches to IPE curriculum and assessment.
In the work setting, health care professionals’ appearance has traditionally been conservative, but recently conservative appearance has been tested by the desire for personal expression. Student perceptions regarding what is considered professional vary and first impressions of the healthcare team and patients may be impacted.
