Dr. Tamara L. Oliver, PhD, MPH, BSN, BA, is an Assistant Professor at Creighton University College of Nursing. With over 15 years of experience in clinical nursing, research, and education, she specializes in cardiovascular disorders, critical care, patient safety, and palliative care. Her research focuses on heart failure, healthcare-acquired pressure injuries (HAPIs), and caregiver outcomes through evidence-based interventions. Dr. Oliver is widely published and mentors undergraduate nursing students through the SPARK program, fostering growth in evidence-based practice and quality improvement.

These simulations not only fulfill the critical need for naloxone education but also effectively support the development of IPE core competencies such as communication, teamwork and roles and responsibilities.
