Hartley Jafine is an improviser and Survivor superfan. He is an instructor and lecturer at McMaster University in the Honours Health Sciences Program, Arts & Science Program, and the Department of Family Medicine. His areas of teaching and research are in health humanities and applied theatre. He is also a lecturer at the University of Toronto and works as a freelance medical improv practitioner. For nearly 20 years he has been integrating drama within health education. He is interested in questions of how the arts can enhance education and the performance of healthcare, build supportive communities, and ignite serious play.
