Alaina Lotozo, MHA, is a Program Manager in the Office of Interprofessional Practice and Education. Her passions include patient advocacy and community health. In her role, she connects community members with health science students, creating a mutually beneficial experience. The students learn about teamwork, person-centered care, and community health, while the community members enhance their digital literacy skills and work to achieve their health and wellness goals. Alaina is a two-time alumna of The Ohio State University, where she earned her Bachelor's in Nutrition and Community Health and a Master's in Health Administration.
Presenting at CAB 2025:
Digital health, including AI, wearables, electronic health records, and telehealth, has revolutionized healthcare. Interprofessional, digital health literacy is needed for cohesive, patient-centered care. This interactive session equips educators to integrate digital health literacy into interprofessional education programming and will culminate in the development of action plans for curricular enhancements.
