Dr. Nordon-Craft is an Associate Professor for the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical
Campus DPT Program and serves as the Physical Therapy Program representative to the
Center for Interprofessional Education (IPE) Council, which provides IPE to over 700
learners. She has experience conducting clinical trials with patients in the ICU and home
health settings, and she coordinates the APTA’s Clinical Practice Guideline task force for
“Physical Therapy in the ICU.” Currently, her teaching focuses on interprofessional
education, and she coordinates the CU Physical Therapy Program’s high-fidelity
simulations which span patient management courses.
Presenting at CAB 2025:
This mini-workshop explores the intersection of social, professional, and interprofessional identities in shaping learning and belonging. Participants will engage in reflective exercises, case studies, and discussions to connect social identity concepts to inclusive teaching practices, fostering student inclusivity, equitable educational practices, and professional identity formation in interprofessional teams.
