Dr. Bingxian Wang is the Simulation Manager at McMaster University Centre for Simulation-Based Learning. Her program supports undergraduate healthcare programs (including MD, Nursing, Physician Assistant and Midwifery), postgraduate residency training programs, Physiotherapy and Occupation Therapy program. Her program also supports in-situ simulations for hospitals. Bingxian has also been actively engaged in faculty development activities, and has co-developed several workshops on simulation-based training including interprofessional simulation. Dr. Wang received her medical degree and Master's degree (1996, 1999) from Shanghai Medical University, China. She received her PhD from the University of Tuebingen in Germany in 2004.

Presenting at CAB 2025:

It is crucial for training health professional students to develop the knowledge and skills to manage situations where patients are agitated, especially in youths. Therefore, an interprofessional simulation experience was offered to support health professional students learn how to mitigate these situations in preparation for their clinical placements and future practice.
