Cheryl Schwartz holds a B.A. in Sport Sciences and M.A. in Liberal Studies Social Science. She is a certified life coach specializing in self-care, chronic conditions, leadership, and transformation. Cheryl currently serves as Senior Director, Service Learning and Global Health for Rueckert-Hartman College for Health Professions at Regis University. She was the Director, Lifelong Learning-Prescott College; Manager, Experiential Education-Eller College of Management-University of Arizona; Director, Conferences and Professional Development-Association for Experiential Education among other professional roles. Cheryl has worked in human services, non-profit management, and higher education since 1987. She is a published author of scholarly articles and two books.

Presenting at CAB 2025:

Interprofessional education through service learning and global health experiences for health profession students will be described including tools and examples. Participants will learn how students can become transformed practitioners through these experiences and use tools to apply to their own institutions.
