Claire Tracey is a second-year medical student at the Creighton University School of Medicine Phoenix campus. She is currently in leadership for the Spanish Skills Club and Med-Peds interest groups at Creighton. As of now, Claire is interested in becoming a Med-Peds physician and is looking forward to exploring specialties during upcoming rotations. She is a graduate from Vassar College, receiving a BA in Biology in 2022. She is a member of the Center for Interprofessional Practice, Education, and Research Advisory Council that supports interprofessional learning on the Creighton Phoenix Campus through learner collaboration with faculty mentors.

Food insecurity among healthcare students impacts mental health, educational outcomes, and interprofessional socialization. This presentation explores sustainable food banks as a potential solution, using Maslow’s hierarchy and Gruppen’s learning environment framework to assess the effects on food security, loneliness, and interprofessional learning environments to promote student well-being and success.
