Daniel Richards, MD, is an Associate Professor and Health IPE Fellow at The University of Texas at Austin. His clinical interests in pediatric and family care include the realms of interprofessional communication and patient safety. Dr. Richards is engaged in health IPE and coaching education on local and national levels.

Team training utilizing TeamSTEPPS strategies is relevant to all health professions and should extend beyond acute care settings to enhance applicability. Participants will explore the use of different learning pedagogies to develop a team training that prepares diverse health professions to be collaboration-ready.
