Dr. Jillian Wallen serves as the Dean of the Creighton University School of Dentistry. Dr. Wallen received her dental degree from the University of Glasgow Dental Hospital and School in Glasgow Scotland, and certificate in Pediatric Dentistry and Masters from the Ohio State University and Nationwide Children's Hospital in Columbus. Dr. Wallen has held teaching positions at the University of Colorado, University of Maryland and the University of Nebraska prior to joining Creighton in 2021. She is a board certified Pediatric Dentist, and fellow of the American College of Dentists, International College of Dentists, and the National Academy of Practice.

In July 2023, the CUSOD established the After-Hours Clinic Program, where twice a week urgent care and primary care clinicians and dentists work alongside fourth-year dental students, oral maxillofacial surgery residents, and a Medicare Navigator to improve care for individuals who would otherwise seek help in emergency departments.
