Kira Rodriguez is a Senior Research Associate with the University of New England's (UNE) Center for Excellence in Public Health. Ms. Rodriguez is currently the lead evaluator for the Center to Advance Interprofessional Education and Practice (CAIEP) as well as two HRSA funded health workforce programs at UNE: the Maine Area Health Education Center (AHEC) and the Maine Leadership and Education in Neurodevelopmental Disabilities (LEND) training programs. She received her BA in Psychology from Brown University and her Master of Health Science (MHS) from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.

Presenting at CAB 2025:

This workshop engages participants in how to build interactive exposure activities for students new to IPE that integrate contemporary social issues with interprofessional sub-competencies, provide data for scaffolding future IPE phases, connect the dots between education and practice, and meet the curricular and accreditation needs of health professions programs.
