Liliana Bronner iss an Associate Professor and Clinical Education Manager in the Department of Family Medicine at the University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC). She provides leadership in student training and interprofessional primary care education. As Assistant Dean for Medical Pathway Initiatives and Co-Director of the IPE Coil in UNMC’s College of Medicine, she fosters cross-departmental collaborations to enhance interprofessional education. Her work also includes partnering with schools and communities to implement innovative science instruction and enriching educational experiences for students and teachers, advancing educational excellence and interprofessional engagement.

This interprofessional dysphagia education event, now in its second year, demonstrates the value of structured, theory-driven collaboration between medical and speech-language pathology students. Grounded in the IPEC competencies, the program provides a model for designing and evaluating effective interprofessional educational experiences that foster balanced engagement and skill-building.
