Dr. Lisa R. Milhan, OTD, OTR/L CHT, is an assistant professor in the Department of Rehabilitation Sciences at the University of Oklahoma College of Allied Health. Her interests include improving health and wellness outcomes for patients and clinicians, occupational therapy education and practice, and interprofessional education. These areas of study have created new opportunities for interprofessional collaboration in clinical and community settings. She has presented locally and nationally to a varied audience on her innovative teaching strategies, fall prevention for aging in place, Interprofessional education and collaboration, current best practices for clinical occupational therapy intervention, and clinician ergonomics.
