Riya Jain is a senior at Creighton University pursuing a degree in Health Administration and Policy with a focus on the pre-dental track. Riya contributed to this research project by administering surveys and engaging with patients to gather data while exploring patient demographics and needs. Passionate about healthcare, Riya aspires to integrate her research background into her future career as a dentist.
Presenting at CAB 2025:
In July 2023, the CUSOD established the After-Hours Clinic Program, where twice a week urgent care and primary care clinicians and dentists work alongside fourth-year dental students, oral maxillofacial surgery residents, and a Medicare Navigator to improve care for individuals who would otherwise seek help in emergency departments.
