Dr. Susanne Barnett is an Associate Professor of Pharmacy and Director of the Interprofessional Education Program at the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Pharmacy. In this role, Susie oversees administration of the School’s IPE Program, and continuous monitoring of the program’s quality. Dr. Barnett’s teaching is focused on experiential learning, infectious diseases, and interprofessional education. Her scholarly interests include the scholarship of teaching and learning focused within interprofessional education and quality assessment and improvement. Susie has >15 years’ experience as an inpatient pharmacist as a part of an interprofessional team.

Presenting at CAB 2025:

A panel of IPE experts from six institutions will engage participants in a workshop about best practices, challenges, and solutions related to IPE assessment. Areas of emphasis will include scaling IPE assessments, adapting assessments/matching assessment modality to varied levels of learners, and IPE assessment considerations that span an IPE curriculum.
This poster presentation describes themes identified from a student reflective writing assignment developed to assess interprofessional reactions and knowledge after completion of the first-year of a Doctor of Pharmacy program including three required IPE activities. Identified themes will be used to evaluate completed IPE activities and to modify/develop future activities.
