Anne Carney is a Lecturer in the Department of Speech, Language and Hearing Sciences and the Assistant Clinical Director of the Aphasia Resource Center at Boston University’s Sargent College. Her clinical and research interests include group treatment for aphasia, intensive comprehensive aphasia programs and interprofessional education and practice.
Presenting at CAB 2025:
The presentation will discuss a student-led, interprofessional cooking group for individuals with aphasia, informed by a Life Participation Approach to Aphasia. Students participated in a focus group following their involvement in the interprofessional cooking group. Findings from the thematic analysis and implementation strategies for educators will be presented.
