Dr. Holly Sak is an Assistant Professor in the College of Nursing at Creighton University. She holds an EdD with an emphasis in public health policy and a master’s in nursing education from Nebraska Methodist College. Her bachelors in nursing was completed at Creighton University. Dr. Sak brings over 15 years’ nursing and non-profit leadership experience working with high-risk obstetric, addiction-recovery, and poverty-affected populations. Dr. Sak’s teaching focuses on population health strategies, interprofessional education for health professions, and public health policy. Her research interests include community-engaged partnerships focused on restorative justice and health equity for under-resourced populations.

Presenting at CAB 2025:

This presentation explores the integration of competency-based education (CBE) through collaboration with clinical agency partners to develop practice-ready, collaborative nurses. Participants will gain insights into partner perspectives and strategies for effectively incorporating clinical agencies into population health and interprofessional education.
