Kaelen Dunican, PharmD, is the Assistant Dean of Interprofessional Education and a professor in the Department of Pharmacy Practice at MCPHS in the School of Pharmacy-Worcester/Manchester. She received her both her Bachelor of Pharmacy and Doctorate in Pharmacy from the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in Boston, MA. At the University, Dr. Dunican facilitates pharmacotherapeutic sessions on nonprescription medication and obesity. Her other teaching responsibilities include Introduction to Patient Care and Advanced Self Care Therapeutics. She also co-coordinates the Self Care Therapeutics and Pharmacotherapeutics I course. Dr. Dunican precepts advanced community pharmacy students at a local community pharmacy.
Presenting at CAB 2025:
This IPE/IPC event aimed to raise falls awareness among underserved older adults, enhance student collaboration, and strengthen university-community ties. Twenty-five senior center participants attended a falls prevention presentation by healthcare students, followed by lunch. Feedback showed high satisfaction and increased knowledge, highlighting the value of IPE/IPC in public health.
