Katie Zander, is a dual certified pediatric nurse practitioner and faculty at Creighton University College of Nursing. She teaches in the accelerated nursing program across the curriculum. Her passion is in pediatrics and educating the next generation of healthcare professionals. She received her bachelors in 2004 from Clarkson College. She received her MSN from University of Nebraska Medical Center in 2009. She earned her DNP in 2024 from Creighton University. She has worked as a PNP in multiple settings including, leadership, neurosurgery, hospitalist, rehabilitation, and primary care.  Currently she practices with the pediatric hospital medicine team at Children’s Nebraska.
