Kendall Ozorowski is a second- year medical student at Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University. She studied biology at Haverford College. She prioritizes the impact a strong patient-physician relationship can have on healthcare, and strives to enter a specialty that allows building relationships with patients. She is currently involved with geriatric oncology research at Jefferson.
Presenting at CAB 2025:
Nearly 50% of Americans have chronic illness, a number that is expected to grow. This study explored lessons chronically ill individuals wish to teach healthcare students through an interprofessional program. Themes included person-centered care, communication, and patient experiences, highlighting the importance of patient inclusion in improving healthcare education and outcomes.
