Dr. Leah Lowe is an Associate Professor in the Department of Physical Therapy at the University of Central Arkansas. She is board-certified specialist in Pediatric Physical Therapy and focuses her research on pediatric interventions, concussion assessment, and educational strategies in physical therapy education. Dr. Lowe teaches pediatric neurology, research, kinesiology, and neurophysiological principles of motor control. She is a member of the Academy of Education Interprofessional Education and Practice SIG. Dr. Lowe has been awarded the 2006 Mary McMillan Scholar Award, the 2020 APTA Margaret L. Moore Award, and the 2023 University of Central Arkansas Teaching Excellence Award.
