Farah is the Manager of Research & Knowledge Mobilization at the Centre for Advancing Collaborative Healthcare & Education (CACHE), University of Toronto at University Health Network. With a Master of Information and a background as a librarian, her primary research focus involves critically analyzing traditional academic performance indicators, exploring alternative metrics, and redefining research and educational impacts. She is interested in exploring ways to work together and recognize diverse forms of contributions, despite structures that might 'pit' individuals against one another (resistance through collaboration - not competition) and focusing on valuing process (not only products).

Presenting at CAB 2025:

Health systems science (HSS) is the study of how health care is delivered. “Teaming,” a domain of HSS, recognizes the need for interprofessional teamwork. This workshop provides participants with knowledge about HSS and how to integrate its concepts into interprofessional education to support health professions learners’ to become “systems citizens.”
