Dr. Jasmine Yumori is a board-certified optometrist who is an Associate Professor in the College of Optometry at Western University of Health Sciences. Dr. Yumori completed a residency at the West Los Angeles VA Health Care Center, earned her fellowship and diplomate from the American Academy of Optometry, and works in both community health clinic and group private practice settings. Dr. Yumori completed her undergraduate training with honors in biology and psychology at UC Berkeley and is an honors graduate of the UC Berkeley School of Optometry.

This interactive workshop uses the "Wise Crowds" method to help leaders in IPE and collaborative practice address real-world challenges through peer-driven problem-solving. Participants will share leadership dilemmas, receive actionable feedback, and collaboratively generate solutions. Leaders across settings will engage, network, and gain practical strategies to advance their efforts.
This study highlights the effectiveness of an ATOSCE in advancing interprofessional competencies among dental and optometry students. Through role-playing and reflective exercises, students gained valuable insights into patient care, emphasizing empathy, communication, and collaboration, critical for delivering equitable and holistic healthcare.
