- Innovative Approaches to Interprofessional Pedagogy and Education Science
"Wise Crowds" is an active learning approach that leverages the collective intelligence of a group. Attendees will rotate through focused discussions, taking turns as the "client" (describing their leadership challenge) and as the "consultants" (offering questions, reflections, and recommendations). This process enables sharing of diverse perspectives to innovative solutions while empowering participants to consider new approaches to leadership.
Participants should come prepared to describe a leadership challenge they face, whether related to team dynamics, resource allocation, stakeholder engagement, sustaining interprofessional initiatives, etc. Leaders of all experience levels are welcome.Session outline with active learning strategies: Use of the "Wise Crowds" method for structured problem-solving.
Small group discussions where participants take on rotating roles of “client” and “consultant” to ensure active participation and engagement.
Reflective debriefing to synthesize key takeaways and practical applications.
