Krishna is a third-year Biology and Government student at The University of Texas at Austin. Passionate about leveraging medicine as a tool for social justice and policy reform, he worked with the US-UK Fulbright Commission, traveling to Northern Ireland to study the psychological histories behind social divisions and community relations. As C.D. Doyle's Education & Research Director, he is dedicated to enhancing volunteer engagement through topical health equity sessions, connecting volunteers with patient-centered clinic research opportunities, and ensuring comprehensive training for team members providing clinical care to residents of the Esperanza Community.
Presenting at CAB 2025:
In a foundation interprofessional education course, 275 students from nursing, pharmacy, medicine, and social work collaborated in a community hackathon to address operational challenges faced by a student-run healthcare clinic. The event generated 187 innovative solutions, fostering interprofessional teamwork, community awareness, and real-world problem-solving, aligning with course values.
