Escape Room Approach for Training Students

How can students at varying levels learn roles, responsibilities, scope of practice, and the way to interact with other disciplines in the most authentic way possible?
Goals, objectives, and purpose: To increase knowledge related to IPEC competencies among students
To improve skills in communication across disciplines
To enhance understanding perspectives as an interdisciplinary team member
To engage in achieving common outcomes using a digital case
Methods/Methodology: The program being presented is a large multi disciplinary multi university group event being done in person using an escape room approach
Results/Findings: Results from pre/post surveys for two years will be presented. In addition, results of facilitator surveys will also be shared.
Conclusions, implications, and/or curiosities: This poster presentation will illustrate how one event was designed, implemented and evaluated. Other recommendations for training students will be discussed.
