This interactive session will explore one institution’s innovative interprofessional simulation series focusing on continuity of care and interprofessional education. The session will give attendees an opportunity to learn about this six-semester initiative that allows pharmacy students to follow the same patient for three years while interacting with other healthcare professional students to mimic real-life scenarios. Attendees will spend time brainstorming the transferability of this activity to their institution to create longitudinal interprofessional experiences for learners.

This presentation describes the development of an evidence-based interprofessional framework to enhance curriculum to systematically align its design, , and assessment to program goals. Leveraging AI analysis, the literature, and collaborative input, we refined foundational principles and measurable behaviors. We share insights from the creation and implementation of this framework.

The development of local interprofessional teams has created a sustainable model for building rehabilitation capacity and advancing rehabilitation in resource-limited settings. The presentation will provide insights into strategies for building effective interprofessional rehabilitation teams to improve workforce capacity, overcoming cultural barriers, and fostering long-term collaborative practice in diverse global contexts.

This mini-workshop will provide an overview of known international Centers for IPE/IPP External Reviews and engage participants to develop an approach for such a process that could provide valuable information to other Centres to communicate the impact of their work and set key strategic foci for future planning.

This interactive workshop introduces how an IPE Center team and Area Health Education Centers’ (AHEC) directors led efforts to deliver Breaking the Cycle of Addiction: A Collaborative Recovery Experience where learners, local agency representatives, and community partners interacted to learn “about, from, and with” each other. Attendees will leave the workshop with a draft plan to create a program related to a public health concern or curricular gap topic.

Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital embarked on a review of the Collaborative Practice & Clinical Education Model that has been in place for over 15 years. Through targeted focus groups, environmental scan, and literature review, four themes and recommendations for model optimization were found.
