The findings from this qualitative case study offer an in-depth understanding of an organizational partnership, from its inception to implementation, that has contributed to formation of a high-quality interprofessional primary care clinic model within a larger academic health system. Interprofessional clinical staff now have access to current, scholarly biomedical content plus the expert assistance of a medical librarian. This new arrangement fully supports the missions of the institution.

In the work setting, health care professionals’ appearance has traditionally been conservative, but recently conservative appearance has been tested by the desire for personal expression.
